G4S Media Image Library - Terms & Conditions

The assets in the G4S Media Library can be used for print, online, media use, advertising, marketing or promotional purposes as specified by the usage and permissions on the asset at the time of download. G4S reserves the right to withdraw the use of these images at any time, for any reason.

All images are subject to copyright, privacy and data protection law.  Where provided in the metadata associated with an image, mandatory credits for photographers and their agencies must be included, such credit to be placed as close as possible to the parameters of the photograph or image. .  You are responsible for ensuring usage complies with these restrictions, even when material is delivered or distributed to a third party. 

By accessing and using the G4S Media Image Library, you hereby agree that:

  • you shall not to the best of your knowledge and belief exercise the access, download and usage rights granted to you in relation to the G4S Media Image Library in any way that is, or renders any photographs or images obscene or defamatory or in breach of the privacy or any other rights of any individual or of any applicable law;
  • you shall not amend, adapt, use or position any photograph or image contained in the G4S Media Image Library so as to suggest that you or any of the persons appearing in the photograph or image endorse any commercial product or service or any political party or belief or use tobacco or alcohol or drugs.

By accepting these terms or by accessing or using the G4S Media Image Library, you are formally indicating that you are willing to comply with and are bound by these terms of use.  If you do not wish to accept these terms, you will not be permitted to access, download or use any photographs of images contained in the G4S Media Image Library.

These terms and any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes or claims) arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter or formation shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales.  Each party irrevocably agrees that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes or claims) arising out of or in connection with these terms or their subject matter or formation.
